Krystal Woodbridge BSc (Hons) RN Dip COSRT MBACP, Director

Krystal Woodbridge is a qualified Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist. As an Accredited Member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT), and a former Trustee of COSRT, she is bound by their Code of Ethics and Principles. She is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and is on the Accredited Voluntary Register. Krystal is also a qualified nurse and is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and the Royal College of Nursing (RCN). She has a broad experience of working with both individuals and couples of any sexual orientation to address their sexual and relationship difficulties, and is a Registered Therapist with Pink Therapy. Krystal is a former winner of the national COSRT post-graduate award for her work in the field of psychosexual therapy. Clients are encouraged to explore their sexual and relationship difficulties in a safe and confidential environment, which is facilitated by Krystal’s understanding and non-judgemental approach. Krystal was previously a regular columnist for Coach Magazine.  Krystal is the COSRT Media Representative and manages the COSRT Media Team. Krystal also offers online counselling and Relationship Coaching.

Kathy Freeman, Practice Manager

Kathy spent her early professional life in mental health as an NHS administrator at Fairfield Hospital. For the past 15 years she has worked with the NHS and private health sectors as a PA to two local surgeons, as well as supporting the clients and staff at Woodbridge Therapy Ltd as their Practice Manager.  Kathy brings with her an in-depth knowledge of different healthcare models and healthcare providers. A naturally warm and empathic person, Kathy has enormous skill at helping the client access the appropriate help they need.

Sally O’ Keefe, Associate Therapist

Sally is a qualified Psychosexual Therapist and Relationship Counsellor. A member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT), Sally uses an integrative approach to therapy, calling on the variety of learning experiences that she has had. Sally has a special interest in issues relating to early Attachment and its continuing impact on relationships, personal happiness and well-being.

Kirstie McEwan, Associate Therapist

Kirstie is an accredited member of The College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT) and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She works as both a specialist psychosexual and relationship psychotherapist and a general counsellor.

Kirstie is a trustee of COSRT and a member of the Media Team. She was invited to sit on the National Memorandum of Understanding on Conversion Therapy group and continues to be a representative of this group as the memorandum is now being implemented by the signatory organisations.

Kirstie is registered with Pink Therapy and has undertaken additional training in working with the essentials of gender and sexual diversity. She is recognised, by Pink Therapy, as an Accredited Gender, Sexualities, and Relationship Diversities Therapist (Accred GSRDT). Kirstie has personal and comprehensive knowledge of the trans and non-binary community and is aware that these people deal with the same day-to-day problems as everyone else irrespective of their specific trans and non-binary needs. She is also aware of the issues that family and friends of trans and non-binary people face and believes that her own experience in this area will be of benefit to others.

Kirstie utilises an Integrative approach, drawing on her awareness of various therapeutic modalities and adapting these to suit the individual client’s need. She provides a safe, non-judgemental space for clients to seek resolution to the issues that bring them to therapy. She works with individuals and couples whatever their sexuality or gender.

Catherine Scannell, Associate Therapist

Catherine is a qualified Integrative Counsellor who specialises in Sex and Relationship therapy.  A member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT), she also regularly attends supervision to inform her practice. Catherine is a qualified Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist. She gives both individuals and couples a non-judgemental, safe place to explore relationship issues including communication problems, affairs and their aftermath, difficulties in sex lives, becoming parents and challenges during different life stages. Catherine understands that people find individual counselling helpful when a relationship has ended, and how to make sense of the ending, how to move forward in new relationships, and identify negative patterns or behaviours in previous relationships. As a Level 4 qualified Integrative Counsellor, she uses different approaches and theories which are be tailored towards any sexual or relationship needs and each individual or couple to gain a clearer insight into the presenting issues. Catherine has experience in the counselling field with bereavement (Level 2 Qualified), young adults and working as a psychosexual therapist in an NHS Sexual Health clinic where she has gained an understanding of the sensitive and careful assessment/treatment for presenting sexual issues.

Catherine has increased her knowledge to incorporate training in the field of Fertility Counselling.  She feels that sometimes this can be overlooked in a relationship and wanted to provide a greater understanding to lone people and couples who are on a fertility journey.  There are different paths when we talk about fertility, whether this is the IVF, Surrogacy, Donor Eggs/Sperm or unexplained infertility. Catherine provides the support needed for whichever path you are on.

Dan Kent, Associate Therapist

Dan is a qualified Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist who sees both couples and individuals for a range of sex and relationship issues. Dan is also a pluralistic counsellor. He is a member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT) and the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapists (BACP). His practice is based on the principles of Humanism and includes a flexible blend of the person-centred approach, CBT, existentialism and other schools as appropriate. Dan’s approach is built on collaboration and client-counsellor connection.  He also has extensive experience in addiction, anxiety and stress management. Aside from his counselling experience, Dan also has many years of communications and public relations expertise and has worked in the healthcare industry with commercial organisations, charities and NGOs.

Murray Blacket, Associate Therapist

Murray is qualified Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist, and general member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT).  He is an experienced psychotherapist with a wide range of clinical experience including the NHS, charity run organisations, hospices, leading therapy providers and private practice. This means Murray has worked with a wide range of ages, (teen to elderly), many LGBT clients as well a wide range of ethnic groups. Murray works with individuals and couples in an integrative way but with a distinct emphasis on existential psychotherapy.

He has experience working with a wide range of issues, including: bereavement, trauma, rape, life-threatening illness, violence (both domestic and social), addiction, parental issues, couple and family concerns, all kinds of personal and life challenges, anorexia, self-harming, sexual/relationship issues, delinquency, work-related stress, bullying (both in school and at work), the impact of crime as well as a diverse mix mental health issues such as depression, bi-polar, suicide and chronic fatigue and pain.

Murray is a UK spokesperson for Men’s Issues and member of the COSRT Media team. Murray a member of the Society for Existential Analysis (SEA) and has been a SEA National Executive Committee Member since 2011. He is also a member of the UK Association for Humanistic Psychology Practitioners (UKAHPP).

Nicola Foster, Associate Therapist

Nicola is a qualified psychosexual and relationship therapist, and a general member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT). Her therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing on principles of person-centred counselling, along with gestalt and systemic therapy approaches. Nicola has experience as a psychosexual therapist in a clinic working with NHS referrals where she has gained experience of helping clients with difficulties such as erectile difficulties, vaginismus, fear of sex and out control sexual behaviour.

Nicola helps couples and individuals with sexual and relationship issues to overcome problems by creating a safe space to explore feelings and to develop strong communication skills. She is committed to providing a confidential and non-judgemental safe and honouring all sexual orientations and practices. Her approach is sex-positive and affirming of diversity and individual choice.
